Digestion is a process in which nutrients and waste both enter and leave cells. It starts from the mouth where there are salivary glands converting the chewed food to glucose, and then it passes the esophagus. Then, it passes the stomach, small intestine, and large intestine. It ends with the anus where the food will exit.
