66 over 90 and 143 over 195 show (in a video, an image, a slideshow, etc.) how you would determine whether the two fractions are equivalent. Remember, there are multiple methods you could use, so be sure to give reasons for your approach.

Put both of the fractions equal to each other. 66/90 = 143/195. Then do cross multiplication. 66 x 195 = 90 x 143. If both sides come out equal then they are equivalent. If they do not equal each other, then they are not equivalent.
