The unofficial boundary that formed at the end of World War II and divided Europe into two sections was known as the IRON CURTAIN.
The boundary is physically represented by the Berlin Wall and Checkpoint Charlie. It also represented the area where the satellite broadcast of eastern Europe only reached.
