Plz Help! If you multiply one fraction by another fraction (both fractions are less than 1) the result will be

A) greater than 1
B) not enough info to tell.
C) larger than the original number.
D) smaller than the original number.

You can try it
1/2 ×1/2 =1/4
1/4×1/4=1/8
1/3×1/3=1/6
So it is Smaller than the Original Number

The answer is B, we don't know how big the fractions are so we can't tell how much they will be when we multiply
