A major result of FDR's New Deal was an expansion of the power of the Federal Government. Unfortunately, the New Deal only helped Women's suffrage a little bit, and it wasn't until later that Women gained voting rights. FDR's New Deal raised the Federal deficit to the highest it was ever before.
