So, this question is actually pretty easy if you know how to calculate percentages.

Since the question wants us to find the percent DECREASEfor each vehicle, you need to find the decimal of percentage and then subtract that by 100.
Let me show you.

Trucks:

First you do 5 divided by 7 and you get 0.71
Then do 100 minus 71 and you get 29.
Therefore, 29% is your percentage decrease for trucks.

Cars:

Now we do 1 divided by 3 which equals 0.33
Then we do 100 minus 33 and we get 67
Therefore, 67% is your percentage decrease for cars.

7-5=2
2/7×100= 28.6%

3-1=2
2/3×100= 66.7%
