The attribution of human thoughts and emotions onto the nonhuman universe is the fallacy of anthropomorphism.
The term anthropomorphism is derived from the Greek anthropos (“human”) and morphe (“form”) and describes what is not human or personal in terms of human or personal.

It is the "Anthropomorphic Fallacy".

The Anthropomorphic Fallacy is our propensity to trait human feelings and qualities to lifeless things and parts of nature, for example, plants, creatures, or the climate. Like in the Disney film, Beauty and the Beast, the clock, candle, and the tea kettle, all demonstration and carry on as though they are individuals.
