\frac{ {x}^(2) + 3x + 2}{x + 2} = \frac{ {x}^(2) + 2x + x + 2 }{x + 2} \\ = (x(x + 2) + 1(x + 2))/(x + 2) \\ = ((x + 2)(x + 1))/(x + 2) \\ = x + 1 \: \: \: \: (ans)
Above is the correct method to solve this question.

Bror did wrong while solving the question because we can't directly divide any equation.

Hope this helps!
