Why did President Jackson believe that the "white" way of life was superior to the American Indian way of life?

(Please don't count me on this, its more opinions than anything) So Jackson signed a paper saying that Indians had to move west of the Mississippi. I believe he thought Indians were just more of an annoyance than anything, due to them being very aggressive. Racism was a thing back then, so he also thought that whites were dominant over other skin colors.
