Describe the homes of nick the buchanans and gatsby

Tom's home is more classy, whereas Gatsby's is like a garish display of lavish wealth.

Nick describes East Egg, with its white palaces and sophisticated residents as “glittering,” whereas the “less fashionable” West is home to those with new money living in huge, almost garish mansions as well as Nick’s own small eyesore of a house. The two Eggs represent new and old money, juxtaposing those born into families with money and those who have become rich after birth.
