The electromagnetic effects extends indefinitely throughout space. So it has not limit and it describes the electromagnetic interaction.

The electromagnetic effect has no limits but it decreases inversely with square distance.

E.M.F = k/d²
where k is the constant of proportionality and d is the distance from the source of electromagnetic field.
