The answer is: A.It is both arguable and defensible.

It is arguable because direct democracy also has a couple of perks that make it able to claim the status as the 'better one' . For example, it give the citizens the power to vote for their own laws.

It is defensible because we can also make the argument that the reprsentative democracy is better, (representative democracy prevent citizens from voting too much laws that resulted in exceed budget that can lead to economic depression)
