What three activities are typically involved in the production planning process? Chase, level and stable workforce. The production planning process is focused on manufacturing models in a company or industry. They make sure they are making the best use out of employees, materials and their production capacity to serve as many people as they can.

Before moving towards the steps or activities involved in the Production Planning Process, we need to know what it is actually.

Production Planning Process is simply the planning of production process. A plan is made to determine the whole manufacturing process of the organization.

There are 3 steps or activities involved in this process, that are as follows:

1) Routing: it is the process in which the route of the work involving in the manufacturing process is decided.

2) Scheduling: it is the scheduling of the work, processes, operations, timings, etc

3) Dispatching: It is the provision of authority to the production department to start the production process.
