Tinh's reduction is incorrect; he should have only divided the side lengths by 3.

Dividing the angle measures by 3 would make it into a completely different triangle. He just wants to dilate the triangle (make it smaller), not change everything about it. Dividing only the side lengths will make the triangles similar figures.
