Scuba diver's rate of change m=13030=4.33 ft / sec

Rate of change m=y2y1x2x1

Given : (x1,y1)=10,30),(x2,y2)=(40,100)

The scuba diver is currently at 31 below the water and she goes 16 feet deeper
31+16 is 47 feet.
The scuba diver will have to rise 47 feet to surface the water hope this helps =)
