The main geologic structures that are present in the investigation area are anticlines and synclines. Anticlines and synclines are the terms related to the earth’s movement. They are in fact fold types. A fold is defined as a formation of rock that is made by flat rocks that became malformed due to pressure and stress. Dependent on what way the earth layers become folded, the folds have categorized either anticlines or synclines.
