Huntington's disease is caused by a dominant allele. if one of your parents had the disease, what is the probability that you, too, will have the disease?

The probability would be 50%.

The allele might affect you or might not. Although the probability is, 50% what actually happens is way bellow the theoretical probability.

Hope it helped!

There's a high chance that you'll inherit this disease. It affects about 3-7 out of every 100,000 people of European descent.
