B. is wrong since a volcanic eruption would be a rapid change & oceanic crust would be a slow change.
C. is wrong because the lithosphere is just the outer most layer of earth & the molten core is well part of the earth.
D. is wrong because they don't have anything to do with plate tectonics moving.
