Alternatives include use bio fuels. Use of bio fuels does not cause climate change because it is a closed carbon cycle (carbon dioxide emitted by burning of the fuels is captured by these plants in photosynthesis). The other is a complete switch to electric cars and adopting of carbon-fuel free machines.
