Post operatively the nursing care planning should include promotion of physical as well as psychological health. There are a lot of nursing interventions yet specifically for an immobile postsurgical patient to decrease the risk for an integumentary complication the best nursing intervention would be turning into sides. The nurse should help the patient if ambulatory or if not to avoid pressure ulcers.
