1. To find the area of the square, you have to multiply the length * width. The width is 8 and the length is 8.

Multiply those to together and the answer is 64 cm

2. The length is 8, for the blank spot. And the width is 8.

For the right side of #2, 8 times 8, which is 64 (put 64 in the next empty line).

The put 64 as the area too.
