Medical professionals and other caretakers are held to a higher degree of responsibility for those in their care. why do you think this is (or is not) important?

I personally think that this is important for the medical professionals and other caretakers are held to a higher degree of responsibility for the ones they care because of the fact that they are likely holding responsibility on that person's life by which their life is on their hands, making them have a full responsibility of what might happen in the future.
