There are six different candidates for governor of a state. in how many different orders can the names of the candidates be printed on a ballot?

Answer: 720

To get this answer, you start with 6 and count down til you reach 1. Multiply all along the way
6*5*4*3*2*1 = 720

Note: This is known as a factorial
