Answer: The difference between a plutonic rock and a hypabyssal rock are:-

Both of them are Intrusive igneous rocks.

Intrusive igneous rocks that form at depth within the crust are termed plutonic rocks and are usually coarse-grained.

The ones which form near the surface are termed hypabyssal rocks and they are usually medium-grained.
