The moles of nitrogen that are in 90.0 g of nitrous oxide N2O is calculated as follows

find the moles of N2O= mass/molar mass
= 90,0g/44g/mol= 2.05 moles

since there is two atoms of Nitrogen the moles of nitrogen = 2 x 2.05 =4.10 moles
