Stage 1: Glucose or Sugaris broken down into smaller molecules and some energy is released. Sugar and oxygen yields carbon dioxide and water and it releases energy.
Stage 2: Small molecules are broken down further, using oxygen and releasing much more energy. Breathing brings in oxygen that is used in cellular respiration

In one or two sentences, summarize what happens during each of the two stages of cellular respiration.
