Three cubes are joined end-to-end. It becomes a cuboid of length (l) = 4 + 4 + 4 = 12 cm, breadth (b) = 4 cm and height (h) = 4 cm
Therefore, surface area of cuboid = (lb + bh+ lh)
= 2 (12×4 + 4 × 4 + 12 × 4)
=2 (48 + 16 + 48) = 2(112) = 224 cm²
