vice presidents generally had ceremonial powers, only exercising powers that have been delegated on them by the president. their role is basically to offer assistance. however, of late, vice presidents are exercising more powers due to changing dynamics in governance. however, vice presidents powers can only be left in the case the president is incapacitated, dies, or is impeached.
