we know that
the linear function is a line
let
A (–5, 0)
B
(0, 11)

step 1
find the slope m
m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)----> m=
(11-0)/(0+5)------> m=11/5

step 2
y=mx+b
we know the y intercept
for x=0
y=11
so
b=11
y=(11/5)x+11

the answer is
y=(11/5)x+11
