PLEASE HELP!

If f(x) = 5x – 12, what is f(2)?

A. 2
B. 10
C. –2
D. –22

C. -2 because if x=2 then you just plug it into the equation, so you would get f(2)= 5(2) -12 .  5 times 2 equals 10, and 10 - 12 equals -2 .  Hope that helped! =D

C. -2 because if you substitue the 2 in for x and then solve you get your answer
