How might architectural plans for the building Megalopolis factory be compared to the DNA in cells?

Both DNA and the architectural plans are a patterns of how something will function. Both contain instructions that will help in building something new, which means that they store information in a certain form. In the case of DNA, genetic code is the instruction for protein synthesis while in the case of plans, the numbers, dimensions and calculations represent the draft for the factory.

Just like architectural plans are blueprints on how the Megalopolis factory should be built, so is the DNA on how the cell should be built. They all store information. The plans have, for example, the number of rooms and dimension of the factory, while the DNA has genes that code for proteins (the actual building block for the cells).
