2x^3+6x^2-X

16x⁵ + 48x⁴ - 8x³
divided by
8x²

You can rewrite this as

16x⁵ + 48x⁴ - 8x³ * x⁻²
divided by
8

Distributing the top:
16x³ + 48x² - 8x
divided by
8

Divide:
2x³ + 6x² - x
