This statement is true.
The northeast and the Great Lakes regions have a natural habitat suitable for dairy farming. The climate, the precipitation, the grasslands, the water, all make a nice environment for dairy farming. But dairy farming is also making a problem because it causes eutrophication of the water and rise in algae population, thus reducing the oxygen in the water and killing of the fish, so a measures have to be taken so that process stops.
