Objects created and used by humans are tools

Tools are used by humans to make life easier. Because they are made by human, like the other answer says, they are man- made, however, tools is a better word for it.

Everything is a tool, for example:

The atomic bomb: Though it caused lot's of destruction and death, it was a tool. It was created to help end the war faster.
an axe: An axe can be a tool, as it can help chop down trees faster to make firewood, use for warfare, etc.

These are just a few example of tools
