World Health Organization finds that most deaths worldwide result from noncommunicable disease at approximately a rate of 60%. The four main noncommunicable diseases are cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cancers, and chronic lung diseases. However, the approximate percentage differs in lower income countries where nearly 80% die from these noncommunicable diseases.
Through the study of World Health Organization, they found out that cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death taking an approximate 17 million deaths per year.
