If everyone has a “different” personality (i.

e., if no two are alike), then how can we say that someone has a “disordered” or “sick” personality? What truly makes a personality pathological?

In clinical psychology and psychiatry Personality pathological means a pattern of cognitive, emotion and behavior affecting the person's adaptation. When a person can no longer adapt with stress, having maladaptive behavior and experiencing emotional instability that makes a personality sick or pathological.
