A female's reproductive cycle is just that, a cycle. It begins at puberty, menarche, and ends with the release of an ova from the last follicle. Describe the female reproductive cycle, the hormones involved and what each one does.

Progesterone helps to maintain pregnancy
Luteinizing hormone triggers ovulatuion and development of the corpus luteum.
Follicle-stimulating hormone regulates the development, growth, pubertal maturatuon, and reproductive processes of the body.
