How old movies,television, and video games desensitize teens to violence? How does this affect how violence is used in everyday life?

When teen are exposed to violence it can impact them in terrible ways. They can become aggressive and abusive to others around them. I believe that is way there are some many people that experience violence behavior. It is not good the way it impact teens, because most teens are still growing and learning and now these videos games and movies will be apart of there behavior.

When teens and kids see their favorite cartoon character or their favorite actor, what do you think they are thinking? They’re probably thinking “I want to be just like them one day”. So if they see their favorite character or actor doing something violent or dangerous, they are going to try and mimic that behavior. These types of movies and video games can also enhance and push violent behavior if the specific person watching or playing it, already has a violent or angry nature. Movies and video games hat are violent are making most teens and kids develop violent behaviors, which can lead to tragic events such as school shootings or the individual becoming violent in the household.
