Question

Suppose a single light bulb burns out. How do you think this will affect lights that are strung along a single wire?

I think I have two answers, but I don't know..

1) It won't affect any other light bulbs- only the one will go out.
2) It will cause all light bulbs to go out.

well if they're all on a single wire that will cause all the other lights to go out. as they are in a series circuit
