The Great society was a set of domestic measure that were launched in 1964. Their main purpose was to address poverty and racial injustice and in a large part, they resembled some policies from Roosevelt's New Deal in that spending from the state increased to promote growth. The main objective was to lead to social reforms and it was unrelated to the topic of comminism. The correct answer is D.
