The answer is C. This is mostly seen in Cichlidae family of fish, such as Tilapia. This is referred to as oral brooding. Fecundity ( similar to fertility) is lower in these fish hence they’ve evolved a way to protect their fertilized eggs to ensure a higher probability of hatching.
