(afterword) how did the media react to executive order 9066 in 1942?

The media as a whole supported executive order 9066 based on the editorials of major newspapers during that time. They supported the internment of the Japanese by the United States. A Los Angeles Times editorial stated that the Japanese will use espionage, sabotage and any other means to help Japan in the war. It is therefore necessary to confine them for the safety of California and the United States.
