Hello!

You solve this algebraically

x^2 - 100 = 0

Add 100 to both sides

x^2 = 100

Take the square root of 100

When you take a square root the solutions are the number positive and negative

x = 10
x = -10

The answer is C. x = 10, -10

Hope this helps!
