Grignard is a good example of carbon nucleophiles and organometallic reagents. By insertion of magnesium, Grignard reagents are being prepared between the aryl halides and carbon-halogen bond of alkyl.
Glassware which is used in Grignard reaction must be free from water for an important conductivity.
