What did critics complain about Theodore Roosevelt? I can't seem to find any material on it. Any help, please?

Critics complained that his goals were ambitious and extensive, that he didn’t provide enough relief. Conservatives complained that his policies were socialism in disguise and that an interfering activist group was destroying a proud history of self reliance.

Hope this helps!
