Britain and France gave Sudetenland to the Germans under adolf Hitler. The action of policy of appeasement in1938 only served to fuel Hitler's ambition. German speakers jhad requested reunification with Germany and czechs refused, causing Hitler to declare war. To avoid war France and Britain gave the Sudetenland to the Germans.
