I believe the answer is: self-control

gottfredson and hirschi's view that all people have the tendency to do criminal behaviors in facing our problems (such as punching someone who are rude yo you, or stealing something that you really desire).
and The only difference between criminals and non-criminals is whether you have the self-control to restrain yourself form the urge or not.
