Hello there :)

When a circle is inscribed in a square, the diameter of the circle is equal to the side length of the square.

So, if the area of the square is 64 inches, we must find the side length of the square. In order to do this, we find the radical of 64, which is equal to 8.

So, since the side length of the square is equal to the diameter of the circle, we can apply the formula to Area of a Circle

A= (pi) × d

A= (pi) × 8

Answer: Approximately 25.13 in

check the picture below.

so, what's the area of a circle with that radius anyway?

\bf \textit{area of a circle}\\\\ A=\pi r^2~~ \begin{cases} r=radius\\ -----\\ r=4 \end{cases}\implies A=\pi 4^2
