Hey there :)

(4)/(r)= (5)/(7)

We can solve by cross multiplication
4 × 7 = 5 × r
28 = 5r

Divide by 5 on either side to isolate r and find its value

(28)/(5) = (5r)/(5)

r = 5.6

Hello!

You first cross multiply

4 * 7 = 28

5 * r = 5 * r

r * 5 = 28

Divide both sides by 5

r = 28/5 = 5.6

The answer is 28/5 or 5.6

Hope this helps!
