How did the hispanos of new mexico get along with the anglos who began to settle in the area?

Answer: The correct answer is : They didn't get along very well, they didn't have good relationships.

Explanation: The Anglos began to arrive in large numbers and to take the lands of the Native Americans and inhabitants of New Mexico and these in turn sold the lands to speculators to obtain greater profit. New Mexicans demanded help from the government for the return of their lands, but they were not heard or their claims were delayed almost 50 years to be processed. Anglos relegated Hispanics and belittled them.
